Advanced Clinical Practitioner
Our Advanced Clinical Practitioner can see and treat minor illnesses, undertake baby checks and help those with mental health problems.
He is currently working helping us to develop a new way of working which incorporates to the Governments 5 Year forward view Plan. Details of which can be found on Kings Fund website: www.kingsfund.org.uk
This is a new post which will be filled in Jun/July 2019. The clinical pharmacist will be responsible for all repeat medication, medication reviews and queries. In addition as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner he will be able to see patients face to face.

We have three practice nurses who run various Health Promotion Clinics, including diabetic, COPD and asthma reviews, cardiac follow-up, Childhood immunisations and vaccinations.
They give holiday advice and immunisations, undertake cervical smears and give a range of other vaccinations such as B12/Zoladex/ Depo-Provera/Flu and Pneumococcal. The can remove sutures, dress wounds and look after complex wounds.
Heath Care Assistants
We have three health care assistants who run various Health Promotion Clinics, including Public Health Checks, 24 BP monitoring, Blood Pressure Checks, Diabetic Checks, Phlebotomy, INR Monitoring and Spirometry.
The district nurses run a home visiting service for housebound patients and deal with dressings, injections, removal of stitches etc.
They also hold a range of clinics at Staines Health Centre for several local surgeries and are currently employed by CSH Surrey. More information about CSH Surrey and the services they offer can be found at www.cshsurrey.co.uk
The health visitors will answer questions and give advice on health matters in general and on the problems of mothers, young children and the elderly in particular.

Ante-natal care is shared between your doctor and Midwife.
Counselling is available either by self-referral or through a doctor.
